If a woman GENUINELY wants to stay at home and do chores and stuff and it is genuinely consented and respected between the couple then it is fine. The same way if a man was to stay at home and the woman went to work. As long as both parties both do what needs to be done done and are still affectionate with eachother and happy together at the end of the day then it’s alright. It’s when the woman is working all day, taking care of the kids, cooking, cleaning while the man goes to work and comes back to be lazy and to not help out at all where it becomes a bad thing. Some women are happy to legitimately be stuck in a loveless marriage and to be forced to cook and clean. It’s dehumanising to be honest. If the woman is going to stay home and do chores it should be a choice and the man should help out if she is tired or she doesn’t feel well.

Yes, women decide what they want to do with their lives, but what this person tried to express is that nowadays there's lots of accounts promoting this lifestyle in a pink,perfect, romanticized way.
