I saw another business owner post this, and it stopped me in my tracks because I’ve never related to a sign more. And before anyone takes this the wrong way, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being an influencer. It’s just not what I am. I don’t post about Devotion because someone is paying me to talk about it. I post about Devotion Nutrition because I created it. I believe in it. I use it every single day with myself and my family. I’m obsessed with the quality of it! And after more than a decade, I’m still incredibly passionate about teaching people WHY we do things differently. Devotion has never been a simple, clear-cut product line that you can put on a shelf and expect people to immediately understand. It needs education. Why our protein works differently in recipes. Why it makes and shakes and bakes the way it does. Why ingredients matter. Why formulation matters. Why I refuse to cut corners even when it would be easier and more profitable to do so. Could I have hired a celebrity with millions of followers to be the face of Devotion and potentially blow it up faster? Absolutely. But they wouldn’t love this brand like I do. They wouldn’t know every product, every flavor, every decision, every mistake, every win, every late night and every reason behind what we’ve created. Nobody will ever tell the story of your brand with the same conviction as the person who lived it. So yes, you’re going to see me talking about my products. A lot. You’re going to see me eating them, drinking them, creating with them, educating about them and probably holding them up to the camera for the 10,000th time. Not because I’m trying to be an influencer. Because I’m a founder who still believes in what she built enough to be the one standing in front of it. And I don’t ever want to lose that.
