It’s normal for babies to wake up to eat during the night. It has been so normalized to sleep train but breastmilk does not stay in the tummy very long, you would wake up hungry too.

I weaned at 3 months from pumping and my baby is now exclusively formula and she’s super healthy and loves it.

Yep! More combo feeding 👏 I started a slow wean at 4 months and now at 5 months I am completely done nursing/expressing and going through my freezer stash with 1 BM bottle a day and the rest is formula. It’s SO scary, and really caught me off guard. But I promise you it’s going to be ok!

Just remember- what you pump is your output not necessarily your supply. Your baby will most likely always pull more milk than a pump! I’ve done pre and post feed weights on my baby and he eats way more from the breast and way faster than I collect pumping

I had multiple reasons but I stopped breastfeeding at 3 months. she now has 1 BM bottle a day (but I think my body has decided we're done with that) and otherwise shes on formula. in general she is doing So good and I Think the sleep regression has been going better because of it. she still wakes up but shell go back to sleep without a feed...which Never would have happened with the boob. quitting bresetfeeding was the best decision I ever made...and shes doing great

Agreed!! I haven’t seen any representation- I’m exclusively pumping and want to stop around 6 months so my body has time to rebound before we try to get pregnant again 😅 I’ll be following along to see how it goes for you!

I started combo feeding just 2oz of formula a day. Due to me having lipase in my freezer stash and I didn’t want to stress about pumping during the day for a bottle. My baby is a snacker too so he’s been doing well with 2oz a day and hoping to start increasing to start weaning
