محمد صديق المنشاوي هو قارئ قرآن مصري شهير ولد في 20 يناير 1920 بقرية المنشاة في محافظة سوهاج بمصر ينحدر من أسرة قرآنية عريقة، حيث كان والده الشيخ صديق المنشاوي وجده تايب المنشاوي من قراء القرآن الكريم. حفظ القرآن الكريم في سن الثامنة، وبدأ يقرأ في المساجد والمناسبات الدينية، تميز بصوته الخاشع والجذاب، وأصبح معروفا باسم "الصوت الباكي" بسبب تأثيره العميق على المستمعين. عمل كقارئ في الإذاعة المصرية، وسجل المصحف المرتل برواية حفص عن عاصم قام بزيارات عديدة إلى دول إسلامية، مثل إندونيسيا وسوريا والكويت، وقرأ في المسجد الأقصى والمسجد الحرام. توفي في 20 يونيو 1969 عن عمر يناهز 49 عاما، بعد صراع مع مرض دوالي المريء. ترك إرثا كبيرا من التسجيلات القرآنية التي ما زالت تذاع حتى اليوم. Mohamed Siddiq El-Minshawi is a renowned Egyptian Quran reciter, born on January 20, 1920, in the village of El-Menshawi in Sohag, Egypt. He comes from a respected Quranic family, with his father, Sheikh Siddiq El-Minshawi, and grandfather, Tayyib El-Minshawi, being Quran reciters. He memorized the Quran at the age of eight and began reciting in mosques and religious events. He was distinguished by his devout and captivating voice, earning him the title "The Crying Voice" due to his profound impact on listeners. He worked as a reciter on Egyptian Radio and recorded the Quran with the narration of Hafs from Asim. He made numerous visits to Islamic countries, including Indonesia, Syria, and Kuwait, and recited in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Great Mosque. He passed away on June 20, 1969, at the age of 49, after struggling with esophageal varices.
