@mrbobbybones: Funny

Chad Mali :

48 years in the south here. Fisherman too. That was worst SNL opening in years.

kopperj :

‘Artificial bait’ doesn’t just hit in the South. ‘Twas a good joke.

Amanda123 ❌️ :

What about when he said all women at gyms dress like whores. Was that funny?

LanaandStef :

no it just wasn't funny and thats okay

Eye Guy :

SNL humor is mostly for people in NYC, Chicago, and LA. Lorne knows this and that Shane appeals to most of America.

Workingmom :

I’m from the south. I guess I didn’t get it. Wasn’t funny to me🤷🏻‍♀️

Billogle :

Shane gillis is a generational talent and is soooo funny, people that hate him actually just truly hate themselves

Luis :

aceunknown6 :

Well if YOU find it funny then there’s no way it actually was.

NameTBDlater :

They like it because they’ve never seen comedians like Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Robin Williams, John Mulaney or Chris Rock. I dont think they actually know what funny looks and sounds like.

ChadBroChill19 :

it's so crazy how he bombed all 3 SNL monologues this year

sucks dfvj :

If you have to explain a joke….

hellatubbie :

his monolog was hilarious

user7971752554458 :

Finally, get me to stay on this side of TikTok. He’s one of the good ones and people don’t appreciate or understand comedy

Trucker_G :

I didn’t see it but regional humor never works on a national stage

billy nelson :

I can tell by how hard you are laughing

Terri_it is :

I felt like he was annoying at most and I’m a major SNL fan.

Michael Rollins :

Hell yeah, dude

golem414 :

I thought it was funny. Even his impression of Theo was funny

Grand Ole Okie :

Who is snoring in the background?

user3625596072 :

It was so funny

NattyPants :

It was all funny. I don’t think she should be a repeat host- he needs to just be on the show lol

cottonwatkins :

I’m from the Midwest and it was funny af

Jon :

what's the joke though

Tish :

I love Shane so I loved it no matter what
