Oh no, my bread dough didn't rise! Wait! Stop! Don't throw it away! Let's try to fix it first! Dough not rising can happen due to a number a factors from water too hot/too cold to inactive/expired yeast to temperature. Make a new batch of #yeast, water and sugar/honey, wait for it to bubble/foam (roughly 5-10mins). While that sits, flatten your dough out on a floured surface. Drizzle the yeast slurry across the dough and gently fold it in. Oil a bowl, roll the dough around to coat in oil, cover and sit in a warm place and allow to rise for 1-1 1/2 hours. If your yeast is not good, your dough doesn't rise or you can't wait for proofing... use the dough for pizza dough, croutons, bread crumbs, focaccia, flatbreads, tortillas.
