that water rushing through the LINQ is largely the flood-control system doing what it was designed to do. The LINQ sits right in the path of the Flamingo Wash, a natural drainage route that existed long before the casinos. the ultimate destination of much of this drainage is the Las Vegas Wash and then Lake Mead.
