@browneyedgurl801: A church just wiped out $14 MILLION in medical debt for over 10,000 people, and it only cost them $75,000... 👏👏👏👏 Covenant Presbyterian Church in Austin, Texas used its surplus funds to clear the medical bills of 10,865 people in its community. The church teamed up with the charity Undue Medical Debt, which buys old medical debt for a tiny fraction of its value and then cancels it completely. Letters are now arriving in mailboxes this week letting people know their bills are gone. There’s no catch and nothing to pay back. For thousands of families, a debt they’ve been carrying for years has simply vanished overnight.
