@seleneandlupus: Lupus has come a a long way since I first was diagnosed over 20 years ago. There is so much research in advancement in treatment and I am confident that with bio markers eventually, we will find a cure. But in the meantime, do your best to learn about yourself. Sometimes I pray that God uses scientists, researchers, and doctors to find a cure for this autoimmune disease. Even if God does not find a cure during my time on earth, I trust that he will give scientists the wisdom to find a cure for those in the future. Not all prayers are answered exactly when you want them to be, some prayers may be answered after you reach heaven. But God is always faithful, and I know they say he gives the strongest battles to his strongest children, but I also think having these illnesses builds humility. It’s not about being strong, it’s about remembering that we are fragile, and that we can only get through anything with Him. #fyp #lupuswarrior #chronicillness #autoimmunedisease
