don't forget, Carrie movies are still based on the books. and in the books, she isn't described as attractive at all. not that that is a reason to bully anyone. but, unfortunately, it's public school. we know how that is, lol.

once again you've highlighted one of the many problems. in the book carrie white is fat and unattractive. the fact that the adaptations seem to miss that or want someone who's attractive to play the lead role the rest of the movie or series is doomed cuz you don't understand the rudimentary nature of the story.

at the middle or end of the book Carrie become skinny and pretty and they still bully her :( and she is so confuse because why are they still bad with her if she looks just like them, the book teach us that they Bully her just because they can... the "ugly" part was just an excuse

Plus Carrie wasn't a normal teenager, she was homeschooled, never had a phone, no knowledge of the outside world, social media apart from the books she read, that made her an easy target.

Being bullied has absolutely nothing to do with looks. We live in a”eat or be eaten” kind of world that consists of victims and predators. Whether we like it or not we can be one or the other. If you’re not a predator or “bully” you’re a victim. Not saying it’s right, I was a victim and bullied because I simply did not want to be a predator. It’s just the way people are unfortunately, not just in high school but everywhere
