I live in NJ in a very diverse area, all are welcome, all are treated well. I was made fun of a lot as a child for being different. I’m glad children where I live now are treating each other with kindness.

The school I went to was very diverse & everyone got along great. We really didn’t even have clicks. Everyone was welcoming at parties & hanging out. Not all schools are like that. I do agree though not all schools were like the one I went to.

They have all sorts of hall monitors, roaming security ( off duty cops) , and Metal detectors in white schools. Plus the Active Drills every month, sometimes twice.

Teaching the children about the structure and culture of the school system being historically linked to slavery would be beneficial... When I was a kid I never knew that the term "motherfucker" originates from captive black men being forced to have sexual intercourse with their own mothers...

Getting on here all huffy and puffy because some Black parents choose not to send their kids to inner-city schools is weird behavior. Calling Black people “coons” bcuz they choose differently from you is completely out of line. You’re being immature, emotionally dysregulated, and quite frankly, a bully. Let’s not be delusional. Parents have every right to choose what’s best for their children. And stop acting like the only alternative to an under-resourced inner-city school is an all-white school. There are plenty of other options. If you want to send your child to a school with metal detectors and safety concerns, that’s your choice. But you don’t get to shame other Black parents for choosing differently. Get the fuck out of here with that nonsense.
