As a North Dakotan, The most authentic way to enjoy a grinder is to stay until last call at Joe Black's and stumble your way over the train tracks. Then stand outside in -20° because Red Pep can only hold like 15 people.

It cannot be duplicated. I suggest you go to goldbelly.com. You can order a grinder kit online, and it will be delivered overnight via fedex. The white sauce is a secret recipe that I haven’t seen anyone duplicate it yet. It is Definitely NOT made with ranch dressing! And their hot sauce definitely has some heat to it.

Taco Grinders are the bomb! All the people from North Dakota saying they've never heard of them they have them at restraunts all around Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks and Minot for sure red pepper, spicy pie, old 10, the lodge, joe blacks and Arnie's just to name a few I've seen them other places as well.
