My father in law and his parents survived because at 4 yrs old he begged them not to return to their home town. She felt kids have a six sense and listened. They were taken by Russians to a Siberian labor camp. Only 300 from their town of 3000 survived. The town is documented in a book by their cousin: “there once was a world” by Yaffa Eliach

My grandparents left testimonies with Spielberg, but all there family members were taken and never found , my grandmother’s sister never was accounted for , they died never knowing, they searched her name through the Red Cross but nothing ever came up 💔
