Our Priest said two things today that I loved, he said that God doesn't care what we wear to Mass but our own "Wedding Garment" is shown in our actions. Then he talked about how there are the 5 Gospels, the 4 we all know Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and a 5th which is our own Gospel that we share through our actions, be it a smile or a helping hand.

Our message was that the wedding garment represents “putting on Christ”, allowing Jesus to shape our character, attitudes, and behavior. And then connected to Colossians 3:12–14: compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness, and love.

yes and my priest talked about how apparently in those days it was actually the job of the host to provide said garments, so it’s not like the man just didn’t have enough money for it - he accepted the invitation but then didn’t put on the garment given to him freely
