popeye chon chon video recording with fans🔥 THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT FOR THE POPEYE WEEKEND! 🔥 What a weekend. Huge thank you to everybody who came out October 9–11 to meet Carlos “Popeye” Carrasco at the different BIBO Events stops throughout Northern and Central California — and thank you to everyone who wanted to make it but couldn’t. This clip is from the San Jose stop at Time Warp inside the Berryessa Flea Market, and you can see exactly what kind of time everybody was having. 😂 The whole crowd was getting in on it, chanting “CHON CHON!” with Popeye right there in the middle of it. Apparently nobody left without getting or giving at least a little chon chon. 😂 From Barrio Toys in Roseville, to the Berryessa Flea Market in San Jose, Northridge Mall in Salinas, FUNZ at Vintage Faire Mall in Modesto, and La Raza Tattoo in Corcoran — we appreciate everyone who stopped by, took photos, got their memorabilia signed, shared some laughs and showed Popeye some love. Carlos Carrasco has been part of Blood In Blood Out history for more than three decades, and seeing fans still quoting Popeye, bringing memorabilia, laughing at the same jokes and introducing the movie to another generation is what makes these meet & greets fun. If you missed this weekend or couldn’t make one of the stops, hopefully we’ll catch you at the next one. For now, here’s a little piece of the fun from San Jose. And remember… next time you see Popeye, bring your chon chon. Apparently it’s becoming a requirement. 😂 #bloodinbloodoutmovie🌹 #PopeyeSaavedra #CarlosCarrasco #SangrePorSangre #VatosLocos #VatosLocosForever #LaOnda #ChonChon #ChicanoMovies #ChicanoCinema #ChicanoCulture #RosevilleCA #BarrioToys #SanJoseCA #BerryessaFleaMarket #TimeWarp #SalinasCA #NorthridgeMall #ModestoCA #VintageFaireMall #Funz209 #CorcoranCA #LaRazaTattoo #meetandgreet#BIBOEvents - @biboevents
