Need more than 1 day? There’s sooo many unique stays on @airbnb that I recommend for the perfect weekend getaway! 📸 videos are NOT current conditions! peak colors expected late October / early Nov 🍁 📌 Tennessee side: - From downtown Chattanooga, take Broad St to Scenic Hwy on Lookout Mountain & stop at Point Park ($10 entrance fee + parking) Panoramic views of the city & lots of history here! 🥪 Lunch & coffee: - There is a market, a coffee shop, and a restaurant in the town of Lookout Mtn that you can stop in on the way to the next stop ☕️ 📌Georgia side: - Connect to Lookout Mountain Parkway & stop at the Lookout Mtn flight park. On a pretty day you might see paragliders & hang gliders jumping off the mountain 🪂 - Cloudland Canyon State Park ($10 parking fee) for hiking 🥾 This park gets extremely crowded on the weekends! If you hike here, the waterfalls may not be flowing. 📌Alabama side: - Not shown but could add Desoto State Park ($4 fee) - Continue to Little River Canyon National Preserve. The waterfalls here may not be flowing well due to the drought but the overlooks drive is gorgeous! *Busy on weekends* *all of these stops are popular & most require fees/parking passes so plan ahead and do your own research* 📝 These stops are overlook-focused for maximum leaf-peeping & because the waterfalls don’t flow as well this time of year 🌧️ Send this to someone who needs a fall trip with you 🥰🍁 #lookoutmountain #fallcolors #falltrip #chattanooga
