My pain dr telling me opioids don’t work after I’ve been on them for 15 years and they are the only thing that keep me functioning. It’s insane out there. Never failed a mandatory drug test, yet treated like a street addict. I’m a pain patient. You have seen my mri wtf??? It’s infuriating!!!

Adequate pain management is suicide prevention. I just had a 5 level spinal fusion and the pain is horrendous. I'm so sorry you're going through this.

insurance stopped covering my mothers pain meds because they have requirements now of like cancer, ect... but elder folks with constant pain arent eligible..a week at a time SOMETIMES

in ohio if you have medical card for THC no matter the reason you can't be prescribed a narcotic/opiod pain medication.

I just went thru the same thing! They were out of my meds and didn’t know when they would get it! And apparently all the pharmacies were out around here!! And the amt of things you have to go thru to get it filled somewhere else is absolutely horrific and so stressful! I’m so sick of all of this!!

You can go to a different pharmacy. This was happening to me getting my diabetic meds and I’m on pain management but, you can go to the hospital pharmacy and they go by rules like others. Hope this helps 🤗

I am sitting without an ankle joint and can’t get pain meds. Also have CRPS….. Been like this since end of June. They will give me gabapentin all day long. I just want some pain relief until my new ankle joint is done.

Girl I’m going through breast cancer treatments and they’ve treated me like I’m a junkie asking for meds… I have bone pain BONE PAIN… mind you my bf went to the er for kidney pain and they found stones. Immediately they gave him morphine tablets.

I REFUSED A spinal cord stimulator. I take oxy daily but have nothing for break through pain. I have an amazing topical cream that helps, but thats it.

The government needs to get their misinformated, overreacting, overreaching hands out of the medical system all together!!! they instituted this nonsense based on bad data which lumped illicit street drugs in with prescription medications. there are other ways of handling things.
