A lot of doctors fail to help patients with severe gastroparsis until your knocking at deaths door... in my personal experience. It's sad she goes through this when she is on tpn it's not good to stop it abruptly and I hate seeing her having to resort to her butterly water to get sugars in her system. I feel like her supply company needs to get things in order and get her deliveries out in a timely manner.

I’d recommend asking and seeing if you could get pre-mixed/manufactured Clinimix (TPN) and lipids to keep in your home for emergencies instead of only D5 bags 🙃

I had one of my daughters TPN packs break on me once and they drove like 4 or 5 hours to get me one single one to replace it with because tpn users NEED their tpn but everyone's bags are made up based on your bloodwork so I know how hard it is to get a tpn bag in an emergency situation another time they did make my daughter go a night without her lipids for the same reason and they couldnt get me a new one that day like they did with the tpn i understand what your going through im sorry this is happening to you :(

The people who are judgy about chronic illness patients really don’t understand that we’d do anything to not be in the er or hospital they’ll be like they can’t help chronic illness don’t go to the er. Like babe to you think I want to be there. I wait till a Dr tells me I have to go or I’m like actively dying. Went basically septic (like my Dr said if I had waited even another hour to go in I would’ve been by the time I got treated) once because I waited so long to go I. ( didn’t know I was that bad and I didn’t know until recently how close to sepsis I was)

I don’t have anything to say but I want you to know that however upset/angry/negative you get from this that those feelings are 100% valid. I’m someone that always feels bad for complaining or being mad about something and on the off chance that you (or anyone else going through something similar) experience similar feelings when upset, I want you to know that this is an appropriate thing to be pissed about. It’s unacceptable and bull💩 to do this to someone that has zero other options to sustain themselves.
