@houston.street.me: Remember when going to the mall was the highlight of your weekend? 🥹❤️ For generations of Houstonians, Northwest Mall was more than just a shopping center. From Foley’s and JCPenney to Woolworth’s, the food court, and countless Saturday afternoons with friends… it was part of growing up in Houston. Opened in 1968, Northwest Mall gave us nearly 50 years of memories before closing in 2017. 💔 We thought we were just going shopping. We didn’t know we were making memories that would last a lifetime. 🏬 What’s your favorite memory of Northwest Mall? #HoustonStreetMemories #NorthwestMall #HoustonNostalgia #OldHouston #HoustonTexas
Back then chick fil la tasted better I remember the nuggets were darker and had a more seasoned taste. Nobody remembers but me lol

I will never forget that. I got my wedding dress in the mall my husband, boyfriend back, then used to leave Closer, so that was the closest shopping place to go on the Weekend and to have fun When we have kids. We used to go to Scici”s pizza. 🍕 so sad. To see that mall like that !😔

That was my first Chic-fil-a. Gold Mine arcade was the best. Had my 14th birthday at El Chico. Bought Star Wars toys at KB and baseball cards at Woolworth’s
