@aspirerecorder: Pakistan’s National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has arrested 281 suspects, including 21 foreign nationals and 20 women, during a crackdown on seven illegal call centres in Lahore. According to NCCIA Lahore Additional Director Atif Ameer, the centres were allegedly involved in financial fraud, online harassment and honey-trapping scams. During the operations, officials seized 362 mobile phones, 191 computer systems, 74 laptops, 127 other digital devices and 550 SIM cards for forensic examination. The agency said investigations into the cases are ongoing, while action against alleged cybercrime and financial fraud will continue.
