I started testosterone because I had brain fog fatigue 0 Sex Dr. and just felt exhausted all the time. I started taking testosterone injecting 8 mg a week for months and had zero benefit whatsoever but then finally I started feeling a small bit of energy comeback and a small amount of the brain fog lift however, my periods stopped my hair started falling out, and I noticed peach fuzz on my chin so testosterone may have its benefits, but it also can have some nasty side effects.

My Free was non existent and total still a bit low in the 50’s. My provider didn’t test SHBG but she told me to double my testosterone dose. I’m going to find a new doctor. Great tip with the boron.

I wonder if it will help because my free t is already at 10.8 and my SHBG is at 52. Total T is 130. I’m taking a total of 10mg weekly via sub q injection and don’t feel different

Mine is high high high. I did some research though and the boron thing is based on a small study of 10 men. There's not much evidence that it does anything for women on HRT with high SHBG. Glad it worked for you! I will probably skip.

How do you know what dosage to start at ? If blood work shows normal ? I go to the dr in Dec so just trying to get all the advice I can get

I have the gel and it's making me really angry. I don't know what to do as I am not getting the energy or libido benefits I was hoping for. My dr is lovely but doesn't really have a solution

Boron didn’t work for me. I was on 10mg for 6 months and SHBG is still climbing. Currently at 171. So frustrating.
