My MRI showed compression on my C6,C7 due to a bone spur (osteophyte). I used to get numbness in my hands when I slept and at first they thought it was carpal tunnel. I also used to get a lot of cervical headaches but last year I started getting this weird dizziness that scared me. I went to the ER and everything was normal. My doctor sent me to an ENT and again everything was normal. I asked for a nerve test and they found weakness on the right side of my arm and the MRI basically confirmed that the nerve is being pinched. It’s been a journey over the last year trying to figure this out. My headache seemed to evolve into dizziness which I find only happens when I’m looking down or I feel neck tension and I now have to sleep with a cervical pillow to keep my neck in a good position so my arms don’t go numb. I just hope that after my follow up appointment I can start some kind of physio to help the problem from getting worse. I don’t think anything can be done about the bone that’s grown over the area for now. I think more people should be aware of how the body reacts to prolonged neck tension by calcifying the strained areas around the nerves because this problem I have didn’t occur overnight, it’s been happening for years due to poor posture. We need to be mindful of how dangerous it can be when we’re always looking down at our phones and other habits that cause this.

I have no tingling or numbness but my doctor says I need disk replacement or fusion being that I have compression and have mild headaches and muscle spasms all over my body. Anyone opt out of not having surgery?

Had an ACDR-Fusion In February this year. Waited over 3 years for this Emergency Surgery in Glasgow. Had constant Migraines and numbness and weakness in my arms and hands. Lost sleep constantly with the pain. Now I have Titanium Disks screws and pins in my neck. Not had a migraine since but neck is still sore a lot of the time. Weakness has mostly went but still get it the odd times and the pins and needles and numbness in my hands. I have a video on my TikTok account of me getting the ACDR-F

yeah I have a fusion in one of my vertebrae I was born with it when I asked my parents to give me a surgery to fix the fuse vertebrate they told me to get a job to fix it myself when it was their fault why I got in the first place cuz my mother wasn't healthy before she had me I was a crack baby when I was born my body was a fully developed years later when I was around 26 years old I found out one of my vertebrates together I still have 100% movement it's just one of my vertebrae in the upper quadrant on my neck is completely fused so my neck is completely straight it's night it doesn't curve I asked my parents once years ago and I was around 26 so they get paid for the surgery but they told me to get a job and pay it for it myself when I had 60-year-old arthritis in that spot of my neck and I could barely feel my hands half the time and I had no education cuz my parents never gave me an education they gave all my other siblings and education but me and I can't read can't write cuz I never put me in school and my father would be an abuse me my brother for decades and my parents are baby boomers so they're loaded my dad makes a fortune my mother makes another Fortune and I live in a s***** apartment with cockroaches man don't know what's going to kill me first the bugs or my spine
