Haha so true but I’m so grateful when spring and summer come around, that snow is a nightmare to walk in. Does anyone have boot recommendations 😩

People saying the grass… I’ve literally seen home owners yell at people for walking on their grass…

It’s always safer to walk on the other side of road where the cars are coming towards you.

There are many states worse than Minnesota. It really depends on where you are in the country. Earlier this year, I spent six weeks in Cincinnati, Ohio. The first thing I noticed was the outright lack of sidewalks, particularly in the surrounding suburbs. Out there, property lines go right up to the road. There are few shoulders to pull over on, never mind any sidewalk! You'd literally find yourself having to pull over on someone's front lawn to get off the road and out of traffic. I kept thinking to myself: If I broke down out here, I'd be screwed.

Walk on the grass. There’s normally a 12 foot public easement from the curb.

That’s why I walk on the left when there isn’t a sidewalk. You can see cars coming at you instead of getting hit from behind.

Well technically we aren’t suppose to walk on peoples yards it’s common courtesy. BUT it would be nice to have a side walk

So I want to start off by saying you're walking on the wrong side. It's safer to walk where cars are coming towards you. So you can see them coming, then them coming behind you. also, yeah, it's not fair, but walking the grass. You're choosing to walk in the street

This isn't at the long late boat launch in New Brighton next to miles upon miles of trails. is it? Because that would be ironic if it was. 😄
