🍔🐟 A late-night dinner at McMenamins in downtown Oregon City! 🎃✨ After spending the evening chasing Halloween lights, visiting Mike Bennett’s haunted house, and making memories with some of my favorite people, we realized one very important thing… WE WERE STARVING! 😂 We tried finding food along the way, but everything seemed to be closed, including the food carts back in Oregon City. And it wasn’t even that late! Thankfully, McMenamins was still open, and what started as a desperate search for dinner turned into one of my favorite parts of the night! 💜 First of all, I absolutely love this restaurant. The atmosphere, the beautiful decorations, the cozy historic feel… it’s one of those places that makes you want to sit down, relax, and stay awhile. I hadn’t been in quite some time, and I’d forgotten just how much I enjoy it. Now, let’s talk about this TUNA SANDWICH! 🐟😂 I’ve been craving a good tuna fish sandwich forever, but I’m extremely picky about tuna. Our sweet waitress explained how theirs comes packaged, and I was honestly questioning every decision that led me to ordering it. 🤣 BUT YOU GUYS!!! That sandwich was PHENOMENAL! I’m talking childhood nostalgia in sandwich form. The kind of tuna sandwich that tastes exactly how you remember it tasting when you were little. It was everything I’d been craving and didn’t even realize I needed. Every single bite made me happy! And I wasn’t the only one impressed! 🍔 The burger got rave reviews! 🧀 The girls absolutely loved their mac and cheese! 🥪 Brooke finished her entire sandwich and was completely stuffed! And our server? An absolute sweetheart! She was so kind and welcoming, especially considering we showed up hungry with kids toward the end of the evening. Sometimes the best memories aren’t the big adventures you plan. They’re the unexpected moments afterward, when everyone is sitting around a table, laughing, eating good food, and enjoying each other’s company.
