Now I understand why every time I get foundation with shade sand/ gold my foundation looks better. I have same issue my face a bit red compared to my light medium olive skin.

Yeah I have rosacea and eczema and I have noticed this. Whenever my face is red my foundation suddenly looks too light and ghostly.

I’m neutral tone but I have redness. If I put gold I look orange so I use green color corrector. So good color corrector with neutral foundation is the way to go ?

I figured this out by accident a few weeks ago. Just went with my gut and mixed lots of yellow in and her complexion looked incredible. I couldn’t believe it.

I found this out when I fell asleep at the beach this summer & my face was in between sunburn/tan stages (it was just really red, like I used the brightest red blush ever all over my face). Went to MAC to buy some concealer & the girl put this exact corrector on my face with a thin layer of Face & Body and had me looking normal again. That corrector is so awesome, it’s so pigmented & a tiny bit goes a long way.
