@5wcvb: Question 3 would get rid of separate party primaries for state elections and require a single primary in which all candidates appear on one ballot. The top two candidates would then advance to the general election. OTR Republican political analyst Rob Gray and Democratic political analyst Maryanne Marsh weigh in. https://www.wcvb.com/article/micah-jones-goes-on-the-record-about-6th-district-race/74093377

No on 3 but we need to vote on ranked choice voting again. We had a chance, but voted it down in like 2020?

so the Dems strategist doesn't want incumbent Dems to lose to other Dems and the Republican guy doesn't want it because Rs will never have a chance again... so sounds like a yes vote from me!

We need jungle primary using ranked choice where you don’t have to choose sides, one person per party goes to the general that gets 10% or more of vote . In addition general elections must be ranked choice where the winner needs 51% or more of the votes.

Yes this would be so undemocratic as opposed to the current system of “I’m the incumbent/The party likes me more, guess I just win by default, lol”

Taking power from party insiders doesn’t mean giving it to voters. Question 3 is funded by billionaires and private equity interests who can spend their way into hand-picking candidates, while grassroots candidates without deep-pocketed backers get squeezed out. That’s not empowering the people. It’s replacing party bosses with billionaire influence. Follow the money. #NoOn3

We shouldn’t even have primaries. Primaries are the problem in American politics. This is a new invention. The parties should just pick

conservative can't win when there's true competition across the political spectrum. its why they like the electoral college and hate ranked choice voting.
