Had an entire ovary removed when I was 17 due to a large cyst. I’m now pregnant at 37! I was so worried since I basically lost half my chances and the second ovary picked up double duty, plus my age scares me. 😭

i get the point of atresia, a lot of follicules ( future eggs) are sacrified every month so that just one can mature and become an egg but when you're pregnant, that happens too ? how?
