Y’all, I’ve been following Alyssa Smith’s disappearance closely, and some new information has come out that I think is worth discussing. Alyssa Smith, 24, has been missing since late September after traveling to Chicago with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend, Jacob Ray Caso, reportedly returned home without her on October 1. Now, Alyssa’s mother, Rebecca Smith, has spoken publicly about the situation, and she says there are some things that just aren’t adding up. ‼️ 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚 In an October 8 interview with Fox News, Rebecca said: “He has changed his story a couple times, so I’m a little confused.” She was referring to Alyssa’s boyfriend. Rebecca also reportedly stated that Jacob returned home with some of Alyssa’s belongings. However, she did not publicly specify exactly which details of his account had changed. ‼️ 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗕𝗢𝗬𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗗 𝗛𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗗 Jacob has reportedly been sharing missing-person information and asking for Alyssa to return home. In one of his social media posts, he reportedly wrote: “Time to come home b. No one is mad at you.” According to Fox News, Jacob’s mother stated that he has returned to Chicago three separate times to help search for Alyssa. Jacob reportedly declined to provide Fox News with an additional statement. I want to make something very clear: Law enforcement has not publicly identified Jacob as a suspect or accused him of wrongdoing. ‼️ 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗜𝗞𝗧𝗢𝗞 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢𝗦? Now, y’all may remember the videos circulating on TikTok that reportedly show Alyssa with another man. Someone identifying themselves as a member of Alyssa’s family said: ▪️ The woman appearing in those videos is Alyssa. ▪️ She appears to be wearing the same clothing she was last seen in. ▪️ Alyssa reportedly separated from her boyfriend at a gas station located at 414 S. Kostner Avenue in Chicago, where she allegedly entered another vehicle. The man appearing in the TikTok videos has reportedly stated that he did not know Alyssa was missing when the videos were recorded and that he had not seen her for approximately five days. 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧: These details are based on family-reported information and social media statements. I have not found public confirmation of this timeline from law enforcement. ‼️ 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗗 Palatine Police confirmed that Alyssa was reported missing on September 30. Investigators have been following up on possible sightings, including reports around Grant Park and the Cicero Avenue/Roosevelt Road area. However, those sightings have not been publicly confirmed as Alyssa. Police have also not publicly verified the reported gas-station encounter or established when the TikTok videos were recorded.
