That one comment is right. We NEVER hear about men doing anything like that for their future wife. There aren't "husband schools", even youth groups don't preach "how to find a wife", "how to please your wife", "what to pray over your future wife" when they have programs and sessions for men and boys. The more I deconstruct the more I realize it's all performative BS programed into women who are also primed to accept way less from the men sitting beside them in church.
