@nadyaokamoto: 6 star finisher 🌟 ran my 15th marathon today and it did not go how I hoped it would. I snoozed my alarm for a good hour and then had to sprint a couple miles to the start line, with no coffee. And then I just felt overheated for basically the entire race lol. I’ve never stopped at the med tents so much during a race, I probably went at least 10 times to cover my legs in biofreeze 🤣 I texted my family group chat “why tf do I do this!?” at mile 18… but answered my own question when I had the magical experience of receiving my six-star medal, and with no miles ahead of me (for today) got to reflect on the incredible energy of this city. When I ran my first marathon it’s about three years ago, I never thought it would take me around the world, or introduce me to such an incredible global community like it has. The sport has truly changed my life… and my career, for the better! Next up, NYC… #chicagomarathon
