My 12 year old daughter was diagnosed with depression and anxiety over the summer. It honestly is the hardest and most heartbreaking thing I've dealt with. She's on medications and see's a counselor. I know I'm healing her, but at the same time I feel helpless.

As a former 13 year old that was in a depressive episode thank you…. Having a mother that understands and dosent push boundaries is the best support you can have. I hope she’s doing okay sending love❤️

my 13 year old was diagnosed with PMDD and we started her on a estrogen/progesterone contraceptive and it's really helped her. we were reluctant to start that but are very happy we did and have seen a lot of improvement in her mood.

i wish my mum had done this. i love her and know she did the best she could while struggling with her own stuff but i felt like i could never express how much i was truly struggling cause i felt guilty adding to her load
