we are going to Texas, but a place we really shockingly loved was Arkansas! highly recommend the beards bluff army corps campground for a few nights, it's a beautiful place to wake up

I have traveled a LOT! I would not recomend LA ... there are some iconic places but not many. Whereas Texas has many, many beautiful state parks and adventures to behold. Texas could be described as many different countries bc there is SO much to see and do! Florida is also very cool with beautiful sites.

It depends on what temperature you want to be in the only problem. Lots of Gulf Coast states next to the beach they do not allow lots of Boondocking, but you can move around us for a few days different places.
