it's a private salt water pool in black point on oahu. you can only access it through a gated community that has armed guards that will arrest you if you trespass. but you can get permission to go

Beautiful. For those who don’t know, Black Point was (and still is) one of the most coveted real estate locations on Oahu. Up until the late 1960s, developers and HOAs employed racially restrictive covenants that prevented the selling of property at Black Point to non-whites, explicitly excluding blacks, Asians, native Hawaiians, and Hispanics. And mind you, this was when property ownership in Hawaii was more or less affordable and achievable. To this day, the property owners at Black Point and Diamond Head are predominantly white. Just a glimpse into the sickening history of this area.
