@60minutes: It may be hard to believe, but electrifying performer Jon Batiste doesn’t seek the spotlight. “I'm a deeply, deeply introverted person,” says Batiste. “Until my early adolescent years, I felt that I was in this world of my own internal design.” He tells 60 Minutes he barely spoke until he was about 10. He would sit in a magnolia tree in his family’s front yard and observe. “I would go into the tree to kind of really understand stillness. You go in the tree, and time stops.
