They basically turned a Cult Horror movie into X-men, and I’m not mad at it.

Dave1111 :
@Dave1111: OK, so spoilers here if you have not seen every episode so is it just me or did a lot of you guys I just expected so much more in the final episode especially after in this version it wasn’t just the gym that caught on fire. It was basically half the town and there are so many things left unexplained number one to me being so they never really explained who EMILENE is and why she’s there and is she a good guy is she a bad guy? Is she out to bring Carrie to other people that are more like her or is she evil and in the whole gym scene they never explain really who the two women are or three that are strangers that nobody knows and why are they there? Are they there after Carrie? Are they there to protect Carrie and you never even see them after the gym scene? —. I’m just hoping that for the second season if there is one, this is not one of those shows for the writer tries to go way too far overboard and change everything about the original story.
