@myriamestrella8: I really thought I’d NEVERRR get here 🤍 A few years ago, my anxiety was so bad that I couldn’t leave my house without having a panic attack… Going to Africa and seeing animals on safari was a dream I genuinely thought I would spend my whole life imagining!! When stepping outside feels impossible, something halfway across the world feels completely out of reach 🥺 And then this plane started landing in the Masai Mara. I was actually here. In the place I had dreamed about for so long. I couldn’t stop crying. I kept thinking about the old me who couldn’t leave the house. How much she would have wanted to know that this moment was ahead of her. That one day, she would be crying with happiness somewhere she never thought she’d get to see. This is why mental health matters so much. There can be an entire story behind someone doing something you wouldn’t think twice about. If getting out of the house is hard for you right now, I see you. You deserve support, patience, and credit for the steps nobody else sees.
