Movie is called “When Evil Lurks” (Cuando acecha la maldad) — 2023 Set in a remote rural community, two brothers, Pedro and Jimi, discover a "rotten" or demon-infected man—a human body heavily bloated and corrupted by an evil entity about to give birth to a manifestation of pure malice.  Attempting to dispose of the body far away from their homes, the brothers inadvertently break local quarantine rules and sacred containment rituals. Their botched efforts backfire completely, accelerating the demonic birth and triggering a terrifying supernatural contagion. As the corruption spreads rapidly through livestock, household pets, and neighbors, the local community unravels into violent hysteria and bloodshed. The film follows the brothers' desperate, harrowing race to save their remaining family members as total apocalyptic horror consumes the countryside.
