I'm not sure the stock will take off, but I think holding long term will win here. Revenue increasing, profits will likely follow, and rates are a short term issue in the grand scheme of things.

Not to mention SOFI's revenue growth can in part be attributed to it diluting shareholders by more than 10% each year over the last couple years, which is why diluted EPS remains largely flat as revenue climbs

@alenhodzic246: People think that Sofi will go up and most likely it will in the future sometime but right now most people are focused on true tech Companies. Sofi is a fintech and most of those stocks haven’t been doing that great. they are also tied to interest rate moves which is another additional thing you have to deal with and worry about when owning shares. As far as the company itself. Its financials are pretty solid and so is their P/E ratio. But the overall fintech and financial industry sector will give you a headache cause of things like interest rates. With Sofi you gotta be very patient and have a very long horizon. Otherwise don’t buy the stock. You might say it’s not going up. However if you look at the chart , it hasn’t gone under $15 in over a year. That’s also just as important. We gotta mention that part as well. It’s definitely a bad stock for shorter term trading cause of lack of volatility but if you don’t mind holding it for years, based on its fundamentals and financials, it’s a pretty good stock to own. Looks like buffet type of stock.And there is no such thing as perfect stock or company. They all have one thing negative about them at least.
