Man, I don’t want to be displace. People shouldn’t want to either but humans also can never agree on anything. Goodluck finding a space of time to create in a world that’s fully automated, I already seen many game dev have their games copied, editors having their work fed into AI and much more. I don’t know what to do ngl, the worst part is that the playing field is unfair, AI is a tool that can be used to displaced artists and make everything for you but you can’t use AI to slow down its progress or protect yourself or other, so maybe there’s nothing to do?

something underdiscussed about ai dev is that I feel like being able to manifest an idea almost instantly does have a special feeling of manifesting a dream - while hard work is important and its definitely scary removing friction, its not just laziness and time saving, there's a certain kind of joy to it that I dont think we have the vocab articulate yet

I see both sides. But i’m creating things I never I never could before. And i’m being more creative than ever on a daily basis. Very grateful to have real skills under my belt regardless

I like this a lot. We always have a bandwidth to create. The lens needs only to be shifted.

Incredible. I think one of the hardest parts of this new era we’re entering is unlearning how we’ve been conditioned to define accomplishment. For so long, struggle and friction were almost inseparable from the idea of success, even though neither ever guaranteed it. And while having an idea doesn’t guarantee success either, we’re now entering a world where the distance between imagination and execution is shrinking dramatically. We have to unlearn the belief that something is only valuable if it was difficult to create. Struggle was never the measure of creativity.

A Professor of mine once explained: The space between the question and the answer is thought of the "struggle area". But in reality, that is the "learning" area. We call it "struggle" and resist the actual "learning" space. It helped me when he said this. Do not fear "learning".

I loved this,... but why does this give me Light Yagami talking with Ryuk. There's just something about the tone of voice or maybe the voice itself. Either way, good stuff

Just followed you on X. Ive been neck deep in vibe coding games lately. I used to do it manually. This strikes a chord haha

It’s been a weird paradigm shift over the past year with all of the recent innovation in AI. This perfectly encapsulates the introspection I’ve been having that’s been hard to into words. Glad to know I’m not alone in this feeling!

nah you should learn how to do it yourself. learning is a skill like anything else. the more time you spend learning the better you'll be at learning anything. if you didn't like making it, you shouldn't make it. the doing in my opinion is more important than the end product. if nobody likes what you made except you, it was all still worthwhile. if you didn't make something and everyone likes it, why'd you even bother? there's already plenty of stuff out there people like that you didn't make
