I can’t send the info on TikTok but you can sign up at my profile link! When you’re living with chronic symptoms, it’s easy to end up doing only two things all day: focusing on your symptoms or trying to solve them. After a while that becomes a full-time job, and it leaves room for almost nothing else. Your nervous system will put survival ahead of everything else, so it starts cutting out the things that make you happy and bring you joy, and it tells you there’s no room for them until the problem is solved. While that’s happening, the days and weeks and months and years keep passing, and we lose parts of our life we can never get back. A lot of us feel like we wouldn’t even want those parts back if we had to live them with the symptoms still here. Suffering from the symptoms, and then suffering from the thoughts and choices we make around them, compounds it a hundred times over. We have a lot more power over the suffering we add, even when we don’t feel like we have any power over the symptoms. I know some of you have already tried “getting back to your life.” You ignored your symptoms, pushed through, and forced yourself to do the things you used to enjoy, and it didn’t work. It didn’t work because of the energy you were doing it from, which was still a fight. That’s not what we’re going to be doing in my 14-day challenge, Let Life Be the Regulator Chronic symptoms like pain and anxiety can be an opportunity to return to yourself and build a brand-new life, and that process has to start while the symptoms are still here. We start tomorrow, Monday, October 12. See you on the Live Call!
