FINALLY APPROVED! I wasn't even expecting it. I found my DACA approval while testing my own website. I've been putting a lot of work into DreamerTracker.com, and I use my own case to make sure everything works. I was testing a feature, and to my surprise, there it was: approved, October 11. My work permit was approved the same day too. Something nobody really talked about: when a silent approval happens, do you actually get notified? For me, the email came about 8 hours after the approval showed up in my account. If I had known that for sure, I wouldn't have checked every single day. The only reason I kept checking was so I could start applying to jobs the moment I was approved. In the end, those 8 hours made no real difference. So my advice to anyone still waiting: checking every hour isn't worth your mental health. For me, the email came the same day. It's been a journey. When I first applied in April, I got curious about the delays and found people who had filed in October only getting approved in April. After that I was obsessed with checking my case. Days went by, and I lost my job. So I decided to use the skills I have and build a site to get a better idea of the approval window. What I found out is that USCIS is all over the place with approvals. But with everyone's dates together, it was possible to get a pretty accurate window. Back in September it said late September, with 9 in 10 by October 19. I was approved October 11, inside that window. Thank you to everyone who imported their case and shared their dates. You're the reason the estimate got this close. Mine was accurate, but every case is different, so treat it as an estimate, not a promise. If you're still waiting, it's free, you paste your own case in, and your name is stripped out. Follow your case at dreamertracker.com. I hope your approval comes soon. #DACA #Dreamers #DACAapproved #USCIS #I821D
