CHEDDAR BISCUIT CHICKEN POT PIE 🥧🧀 Ingredients: Chicken: * 6 chicken breasts * Salt + pepper 1 tsp (add more as needed) * Paprika 2 tsp * Smoked paprika 1/2 tsp * Garlic powder 1 1/2 tsp * Onion powder 1 1/2 tsp * Thyme powder 1/2 tsp * Red pepper flakes 1/2 tsp * Oil for cooking Filling * 3 tbsp butter * 1 small onion, diced * 5 garlic cloves, minced * 2 celery sticks * 1 potato, peeled & diced SMALL * ⅓ cup flour * 2 cups chicken broth * 1½ cups milk * 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed veggies * Salt + pepper as needed Cheddar Biscuits * 2 cups flour * 1 tbsp baking powder * ¼ tsp salt * ½ tsp garlic powder * ½ cup melted butter * 1 cup milk * 1½ cups shredded cheddar Garlic Butter * 3 tbsp melted butter * ½ tsp garlic powder * 1 tbsp chopped parsley 👩🏻‍🍳 EASY STEP-BY-STEP ** i forgot to film in video i boiled 1 diced potato first for 10 min or til soft. Ill let you know where to add it! 1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme & red pepper flakes. 2. Add a little oil to a large pan and cook chicken until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside. (Dice when cooled) 3. In the same pan, melt butter. Add onion, garlic and celery. Sauté until the onion and celery is soft. 4. Sprinkle in flour and stir for about 1–2 minutes. 5. Slowly add chicken broth and milk, stirring until the sauce gets thick & creamyyyy. 6. Add frozen veggies, potato and your cooked chicken back in. Taste and adjust salt/pepper if needed. 7. Make the cheddar biscuits: Mix flour, baking powder, salt & garlic powder. Add melted butter and milk, then fold in cheddar. 8. Pour the creamy chicken filling into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Drop scoops of cheddar biscuit dough all over the top. 9. Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes or until the biscuits are cooked through and golden. 10. Mix melted butter, garlic powder & parsley and brush it over those hot biscuits.
