when they used to stock the river in my town they would put some in at the marina boat launch. when the fish came back to spawn there would be fish trying to swim up the landing. be flopping on the concrete back into the water then try again. it was really comical

Well it’s a female so my analogy is not 100% accurate, but it will make the point: Imagine, you are a guy at a high school dance. There are 2 girls and 20 guys at said dance. All 19 of the other guys are 6’2” or taller, and you’re 5’8”. They also all have new Bimmers or Benzes and you drive a ‘05 Corolla. And they all make $250k a year working for their daddy’s company. You and the 19 other guys just wanna get laid. So does this fish. Unfortunately, this fish sees your options, not the other 19 guys’ options. It’s going to die alone and without getting laid…
