@dr.ilancohen: Two patients get the exact same premium cataract lens. One sees perfectly. The other fights glare and halos every night. Why? It's almost never the lens. It's the execution — measurements, centration on your visual axis, and a round, evenly overlapping opening to hold the lens. None of this is luck. In experienced hands, it's all controllable. If you or your parents are researching cataract surgery, save this and ask your surgeon about all three. Follow me to see what great execution looks like under the microscope. #CataractSurgery #PremiumLens #EyeHealth #Ophthalmology #VisionCare

Please may I ask whether you have ever known a patient to experience starbursts after YAG capsulotomy? I had a Tecnis Eyhance lens successfully fitted in March. All was perfect (no positive dysphotopsia at all) but my surgeon noted residual cells during surgery and that I would need YAG in a few months. He did a cruciate pattern 6 weeks ago and, ever since, I have huge starbursts, at night only. My pupils dilate to 6.5mm in the dark! Any advice would be gratefully received. Under a slit lamp, he reports all looks ‘textbook’. 🥺
