little detail but Snape redirects mcgonagall attacks at the death eaters behind him so when Snape leaves they cant hurt the kids or teachers. those death eaters tortured 1 years

I think they both protected each other here it looks like they have some kind of agreement she could have still cast spells after the death eaters where disarmed but she didn't I think she knew something a little bit more than were led to believe
