@nbcsandiego: One of the challenges that USS Lincoln crew members said they had to deal with during their long deployment was issues with connectivity. It made it tough sometimes for them to stay in contact with their loved ones. But thanks to a non-profit founded here in San Diego, many of the deployed parents were still able to keep a special connection with their children.   NBC 7's Catherine Garcia has more.
