sure… but I’d also consider the fact that many ppl that are not accessing AI at all are doing so because they REJECT it outright. it’s not like everyone in the world wants to access it, but those that don’t just can’t. many will be left behind because they’re simply resistant to it. tbh, I also don’t understand ppl that stay on free tiers, and don’t at least pay for the cheapest plans. you get so much more benefit and can leverage more of the tools. many stay on free tiers as another way of “rejecting” it. they think “well, I’ll try it/play with it… but I’m never going to pay for it.”

I’m getting a lot done with mid-tier AI models. I genuinely think the average person doesn’t need frontier-level access, especially when the capability gap is already so wide. Most people starting out won’t even come close to pushing mid-tier models to their limits.

Completely wrong. The gap isn't in paying for AI. it's access. I can do 99% of the work with free and low cost AI. my needs are completely met with DeepSeek Harness + API. All that token usage on a Chromebook and a Galaxy S22. I don't need top tier to learn. all I need is access. The Gap is small. The playing field is almost level. No subscriptions. No limits. A Harness that works. I'm learning everyday.

bro I work with AI every day and I'm getting left behind. with 2 max subscriptions. these companies are too massive with teams of people running multiple agents. Anything digital is hostile territory now. I've been building these projects for months and these huge companies just pump out similar products like it was nothing.
