@ancientaztlan: #tiktoklive #livehighlights🦉❤️ A BEAUTIFUL GREAT HORNED OWL RESCUE! A MAGICAL ENCOUNTER WITH NATURE! 🌿 Today, something truly extraordinary happened while we were hiking through a beautiful eucalyptus grove in Benicia, California. Out of nowhere, this magnificent, wise-looking gray Great Horned Owl came down right in front of us, almost as if he was intentionally showing himself and asking for help. We immediately noticed something was wrong. One of his wings appeared to be broken, and from his condition, it looked as though this beautiful creature may have been struggling for several days. There was something deeply moving about this encounter. Of all the places this owl could have been hiding, he revealed himself right in our path. And there was no way we were going to leave him behind. ❤️ I stayed with him for nearly two hours, making calls and searching for the right people who could safely help this incredible bird of prey. Eventually, we connected with the amazing team at Bay Raptor Rescue! A beautiful, compassionate woman from their rescue team came all the way out to meet us, bringing the proper equipment and experience to safely net and capture this magnificent owl. Together, we successfully rescued him! 🙏🦉 He is now on his way to Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital in Walnut Creek, California, where he can receive professional medical attention and hopefully make a full recovery, with the possibility of returning to the wild where he belongs. I cannot express enough gratitude to this incredible woman and the dedicated people who devote their lives to protecting wildlife. Sometimes nature speaks to us in the most unexpected ways. Today, it felt as though this beautiful owl reached out to us, and we were fortunate enough to be there to answer. I'm sharing this live documentation to honor this magnificent creature, the rescue team, and the importance of looking after the beautiful beings we share this planet with. Please support these incredible organizations: 🦉 Bay Raptor Rescue: www.bayraptorrescue.org ❤️ Lindsay Wildlife Experience: www.lindsaywildlife.org If you ever encounter an injured bird of prey, please contact trained wildlife rescuers rather than attempting to capture it yourself. Sending this beautiful owl so much love and healing energy. May those magnificent wings carry him through the skies once again! 🦉❤️🌎 With gratitude and love for Mother Earth and all her beautiful creatures.
