HOW I ACHIEVED THIS CLEAN INSTALL AS A BEGINNER! 😍🤌🏽❤️ Re-installing a wig with over-bleached knots as a beginner had me a little nervous, but I’m honestly so happy with how clean the results turned out!🥹❤️ Here’s what I did differently: 1. Prepped my baby hairs: I started by brushing my baby hairs using my preferred styling gel of choice. 2. Cleaned my forehead: I wiped off all the excess products from my forehead to make sure the area was clean before applying my adhesive. 3. Applied my Glamour spray: I used 3 thin layers of Glamour spray, cleaning as I went and allowing each layer to dry until it became clear before proceeding. 4. Laid my lace: Once my lace was in position, I used a rat-tail comb to comb down the flyaways and gently pressed the lace against my hairline to help it lay flat. 5. First melt + complexion match: After my first melt, I applied a contour powder that matched my skin tone to help the lace blend more naturally. I then went in with my melting spray. 6. Second melt and we’re DONE! 😍🤌🏽 I did my second melt and voilà! Look at how clean the install turned out! 🥹❤️ I’m still learning, experimenting and perfecting my craft, but this result has made me so proud of myself. Sometimes, all you need is patience, the right technique and a little practice. ❤️ Beginner hairstylists, don’t be afraid to try, learn and improve! We all start somewhere. 🥹✨ #BeginnerFriendly #WigInstall #LaceMelt #WigReinstall #HairTok
