@flawvorful: Hello Frida, an animated film in French by André Kadi and Karine Vézina. It's based on the book Je m'appelle Frida Kahlo written by Québécoise actress Sophie Faucher and illustrated by Mexican-Canadian visual artist Cara Carmina. The film is about Frida Kahlo's childhood in Coyoacán, México. It was screened a the Alliance Française in Seattle. Cara Carmina was there. Sophie Faucher, the author of the book passed away recently and there was a special exhibit to honor her. My friend and I brought our girls and they sat through the hour and a half that the film lasted. Lovely experience. Thank you @Alliance Française Seattle for organizing these events! 🎥
